Overview

Using Radio wave to solve various issues in society

Society 5.0" has been advocated as the future society that should aspire. In this context, expectations for the sophistication of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) are increasing, as it can drastically change the social economy.
The Radio Research Institute, aim to realize Society 5.0 using various technologies related to radio waves among in ICT In this process of realization, we have the following three roles.

  1. (1) The role of realizing the function of "sensing" aggregates information from physical space into cyberspace using various sensors.
  2. (2) "Processing" function to create the "future image" in cyberspace by analyzing various kinds of data.
  3. (3) A role to realize the function of "Acting" to create physical space by utilizing cyberspace data.

The Radio Research Institute will play each of the above three roles and collaborate on the results obtained from each role. As a result, we will be able to accurately assess the status of weather, disasters, space environment, society, etc., and make highly accurate predictions of the future to realize a smart life in the real world.
